Friends, Many of you know that Dave Bernstein has been battling cancer for the last three years, many of you may just be hearing this for the first time. He did not want to let his illness stop him from playing his music. Dave passed away on Tuesday night at UCSF Long Hospital at Parnassus. It has been a really long illness and had taken so much from him, but he fought long and hard and stayed much longer than anyone thought he would. We will have a service, Tuesday, May 13th at 4:30pm, at Sullivan's Funeral Home, 2254 Market Street, San Francisco. Parking is available; the phone number is 415-621-4567. |
